Mikhail Svetlov presents a program including his favorite arias, Neapolitan songs, Rachmaninoff romances and Broadway hits accompanied by pianist Alex Nakhimovsky. Soprano Yelena Dudochkin will join Mikhail for some musical surprises.
MIKHAIL SVETLOV is one of the brightest representatives of the bass vocal tradition. He has a great command of vocal technique, is an amazing actor of both comedy and drama, of tragic image and buffoonery, as well as pop. Mr. Svetlov nominated for a Grammy Award, was also honored with two Telerama Awards in France and he is a winner of ViottiInternational Competition in Italy.
A principal soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow and Metropolitan Opera of New York he gave an absolutely magnificent opera performances in many of the most prestigious venues like Covent Garden in London, Carnegie Hall, Arena di Verona, Houston Grand and Florida Grand operas, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro Colon and many others. His recent works are associated with productions at the MET “Meistersingers” and “Ariadne on Naxos’’, Zaccaria “Nabucco” Verdi in Erfurt, Germany, Rachmaninoff's “Miserly Knight” inBoston and Rossini's “Mass" in Washington, 14 Symphony by Shostakovich at Linkoln Center in New York.

In addition to performing classical music and opera, we added jazz to inspire and enrich collaboration among musicians and enhance and vary the audience experience.
There are two main components in our organization: music festival series and competition.
Our Chamber Music Festival was created to provide young musicians with an opportunity to accelerate their artistic growth and to excel in their chamber musical skills by collaborating and performing together with world class musicians in a chamber music ensemble. Our Chamber Music Festival was created to provide young musicians with an opportunity to accelerate their artistic growth and to excel in their chamber musical skills by collaborating and performing together with world class musicians in a chamber music ensemble. We provide a platform for gifted musicians, young and mature professionals to keep chamber music performances alive and relevant for today’s audience.
This Festival is organized as a series of concerts in various Greater Boston and New York venues. Concerts may include chamber music from the classical and jazz tradition where musicians and invited speakers share interesting insights engaging the audience.

We are thrilled to announce our Eighth ICMEC, sponsored by the New England Conservatory of Music School of Continuing Education is now OPEN. The Competition will take place on March 7-8th, 2020 and is open to wide range of chamber music groups.
Prizes include cash awards and professional appearances in several of New England's chamber music series. Semi Finals March 7th 2020 at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. This round is closed to the public. Finals March 8th at Brown Hall of the New England Conservatory of Music. The final round is open to public and admission is free.
Applicants must submit a Youtube video of their ensemble's performance, entrance fee and completed application form by February 10, 2020. The rules, regulations and application are on our website (www.cmfone.org).
