Tatyana Dudochin, President
One of the original founders of CMFoNE and its current president and artistic director, Tatyana Dudochkin is a distinguished pianist, teacher, and educator, critically acclaimed for her remarkable performances as a soloist and chamber musician.
A winner of numerous awards, including First Prize and Grand medal from the Lithuania Early Music Competition, All Union Piano Competition, Moscow and the Ukrainian Chamber Music Competition, Ms. Dudochkin served for twenty years as a Chair of the Piano Ensemble Department of the New England Conservatory Preparatory and Continuing Education Division, Instructor of Emerson program at MIT, and as a piano faculty at the Puigcerda Music Festival in Spain for 10 years.
She is currently a piano faculty at New England Conservatory Preparatory and Continuing Education Division. Tatyana's students received more then 300 top prizes in international, national and world piano competitions including: International Piano Competition (Cinigalia, Italy); International Young Pianist Competition (Montreal, Canada); International Piano Duo Competition (St. Petersburg, Russia); Spivakov International Foundation (Moscow); International Piano Competition (Purcerda, Spain). Competitions based in USA include: Young Virtuoso at Carnegie Hall (New York, NY); World Piano Competition, Cincinnati, OH; International Piano Competition in Washington D.C.; New England Conservatory and Brockton Symphony Concerto Competitions; Marlborough National Piano Competition; Massachusetts Music Teacher Association; New England Piano Teachers Association; and "Steiner & Sons" piano competitions (Boston, MA). She received the 2019 "Teacher of the Year" award from International Youth Music Competitions.
Ms. Dudochkin received many Recognition of Outstanding Teacher Awards and is often invited to judge international and national competitions. Among them: ‘Parnassus,” Mexico, Richmond, Boston University, Boston International Piano Competition, Cape Breton Music Competition, Canada.
She has concertized extensively throughout former Soviet Union, United States, Canada, Spain, Italy and Holland. Most recently, Tatyana performed at Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall in New York and Jordan Hall at New England Conservatory. Ms. Dudochkin served as artist-in residence at the Rockport, Hampton, Summit, Spring of Prague, Vladimir Horowitz Summer Festivals and many other music festivals. Her radio and television performances include WGBH, WBUR, "Voice of America,"Morning Pro Musica," Washington National Public Radio, and Continental Cable vision "In Performance." She is also featured in many recordings Live from Jordan Hall. Tatyana is the founder and Artistic Director of the annual New England Conservatory Composer’s Anniversaries Celebrations series at Jordan Hall since 1990.
Maxim Lubarsky, Director of Jazz Division
We are thrilled to have Maxim join our group to bring his expertise and passion for jazz to expand the musical offering and engagement. A native of Odessa, Ukraine, Maxim Lubarsky started his career as a classical pianist. When he was 7 years old, he began his musical education at the famous Stolyarsky School of Music, where his father, a member of the piano faculty and a renowned pianist, was his teacher and mentor. Later Maxim received a master’s degree from the Odessa State Conservatory, where professor Evilina Kovalenko was his piano instructor. During his last years in school, Lubarsky acquired a love for jazz music and founded his first group, Art Session, with whom he toured, played numerous venues in the Ukraine, and won first place in several competitions. While playing and touring with Art Session, he continued his classical career, playing solo recitals and performing with the Odessa State Symphony Orchestra. During his years at the conservatory, he was a highly recognized pianist and toured extensively in Israel, France, Czechoslovakia, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece, and the U.S. After graduating from the conservatory, Lubarsky decided to pursue jazz education, which brought him to Berklee College of Music, where he studied with such renowned musicians as Joanne Brackeen, Danilo Pérez, Hal Crook, and Joe Lovano, to name a few. At Berklee, he was recipient of BEST scholarship and the Berklee Technics Piano Award in 2002.
Maxim has been involved in numerous projects and recordings with performers such as Terry Lynn Cattington, Dave Samuels, Greg Osby, E.J Strickland, Gabrielle Goodman, Dave Liebman and Tiger Okioshi. He co-leads Macayú Jazz Chamber Trio and leads Maxim Lubarsky Quartet. He has also been performing, recording and touring with Gabrielle Goodman as pianist and music director.
Maxim has appeared at number of festivals including St. Petersburg Music Fest (Russia), Spoleto Festival (SC), Beantown Festival (MA), Diacetum Festival (Italy), Usadba Jazz Festival (Russia), ArtNaples Festival (FL), Krivoy Rog festival (Ukraine), Cambridge Jazz Festival (MA), Salem Jazz and Soul Festival (MA), Bethel Art Festival (PA). He has been a regular at the Spoleto festival in Charleston, S. Carolina where in the summer of 2012 he performed Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with Festival Symphony Orchestra.
Maxim has appeared on many recordings as a leader and sideman including : “I’ll be around,” “The Macayù Trio,” Sandra Aran-Maxim Lubarsky – Intimately,” Rosalita Agrest/Maxim Lubarsky - Musical Journey, C’est Si Bon - Live at The BPC, were some of them.
Maxim continues an active performing career in Boston and New York, as well as touring internationally. He has been invited numerous times with masterclasses to China, South Africa and Russia. Maxim Lubarsky is an Assistant Professor at the Piano Department at Berklee College Of Music.
Yelena Dudochkin, Artistic Director
Yelena Dudochkin has captivated audiences across the world with her expressive stage presence, rich soprano voice, and powerful interpretations. Her recent roles includeTatyana in Eugene Onegin, Violetta in La Traviata, Snow Maiden in Snow Maiden, Brigitta and Iolanta in Iolanta, Gilda in Rigoletto, Norina in Don Pasquale,Chernyafka in Magic Mirror, Manon in Manon, Podtochina’s Daughter in The Nose, and Marfa in Tsar’s Bride. A recipient of over 20 awards and honors, and notably, her world-premier performance in The Magic Mirror (Chernyafka) was honored with the 2014 American Prize in Opera. Yelena has been touted for her “gorgeous, expressive and rich voice” (Voice of America) and her “dramatic intelligence” (Boston Globe) that have repeatedly “amazed the audience” (Kontact). She is sought after as both an operatic performer and concert soloist, performing with leading orchestras globally including at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Jordan Hall, The Majestic Theater, and Boston’s Symphony Hall. Outside of her performance career, Yelena additionally works to expand the scope and impact of music and culture in society, with recent talks at the World Economic Forum in Davos and at the premier Music X Summit.

Supporting this dedicated musical ensemble, Yulia brings years of writing and communications experience to highlight all the magic and excitement she feels for the live music performances and arts in general and comes from a rich history participation in the arts. She resides in Dover, NH and has been an active members of the Arts Commission.

Alexander brings his years of experience as our treasurer. Alexander’s interests are in the field of education. His general love of music and chamber music in particular, art, and cinematography, led to his involvement in Greater Boston cultural scene.
He is a lecturer in Computer Science at Boston University and teaches courses in Artific

He is a lecturer in Computer Science at Boston University and teaches courses in Artificial Intelligence and Analysis of Algorithms. He has a PhD in mathematics from the Moscow University. He authored dozens of patents and publications in the field of computational mathematics and computer simulations with applications to semiconductor industry.
